USS Scorpion

This guy generally does good long form videos on marine history, mostly civilian shipping. But he recently did a long form video on the loss of the USS Scorpion that I thought might be of interest. My only complaint on his videos is I wish he would drop the music down lower in the mix at points.

On May 22nd, 1968, the nuclear powered submarine USS Scorpion (SSN-589) vanished 400 miles southwest of the Azores. What doomed the nuclear powered submarine and the 99 men on board remains a mystery to this day.
