Type 21 Frigate Ex-Ambuscade to Become Museum?

So, it appears that a charity group are attempting to bring the Type 21 Frigate ex-HMS Ambuscade, ex-PNS Tariq back to Scotland as a museum ship. They seem to have a fairly ambitious plan for the ship itself plus a museum/dockyard.

No idea how feasible this will actually be. The cost of repatriating the ship alone might be more than a typical charity can manage. They've already lost out on the first ship they wanted, the tall ship tanker Falls of the Clyde, which is likely to be scrapped in Hawaii shortly.

Hopefully never happen as it will just rot away as a money pit once the charity realises how big a job the upkeep is. It would only be sent for scrap after bailing out by the local authorities after a few years of neglect and lack of interest

Apart from dredging the river to create an access channel, an expenditure oft overlooked re such ventures is decontamination and making safe for public access, not to mention constant upkeep (as all such vessels are when in service) I can see this being all smoke and wishful thinking at best
