So, it appears that a charity group are attempting to bring the Type 21 Frigate ex-HMS Ambuscade, ex-PNS Tariq back to Scotland as a museum ship. They seem to have a fairly ambitious plan for the ship itself plus a museum/dockyard.
No idea how feasible this will actually be. The cost of repatriating the ship alone might be more than a typical charity can manage. They've already lost out on the first ship they wanted, the tall ship tanker Falls of the Clyde, which is likely to be scrapped in Hawaii shortly.
