ACCESS: Top Secret

Some notable and controversial names include:
Dr. Shawn Gannon, Chemours (note: Chemours is a maker of forever chemicals and PFAS)
Dr. Matthew LeBaron, Dow Chemical (sued by Texas early this year for pollution)
Mr. Thomas Haren, CEO of AGPROfessional (who even are these guys)

All have college degrees on the subject at hand.
Overall seems like a good lot if nothing out of the ordinary. This news did cause a massive outburst on "other places" but it's really just people overreacting to purposedly half omitted info.

Trump in the title

This thread will certainly end well...
Tbh insofar it's a nothing burger.
EPA's whole job this adminstration is to find ways to straighten regulations. Nothing really mindblowing and common people only really cares about big bang headlines.
I think we can all agree that #MuskSavesTheMollusks is pretty dumb.

How the industry and agencies involved will navigate Trump's whole "move industries back to America" will be interesting. We all know of China's smog.

Yes, it's the Bar, "...anything offtopic (but likely to be of interest) in here", but some rules generally overrule others.
And though interesting, it's pure politics!

China's smog is almost gone, at least along the coast. It might be the case, that the air is still dirtier than in e.g. California, but you don't see or feel any smog. It was different 15 years ago.

The real problem in China is the ground water, not the air

Indeed, some groundwater in China does have certain problems. As for air quality, smog is indeed rarely seen. The only issue is sandstorms, but this is no longer something the Chinese government can solve.
