Special Forces vs Ballistic Missiles prior to 1991

As far as I'm aware, the first time special forces were operationally deployed to engage ballistic missiles and their tels was in the 1991 Gulf War. Was there prior planning regarding this type of mission or any operations in the Iran-Iraq War, the 1973 Yom Kippur War, the 80s skirmishes between the US and Libya, or the Soviet-Afghan War?

During the wars of Attrition and Yom Kippur, Israel definitely used deep penetration raids into the African side of Egypt, some of which were specifically hunting missile sites. IIRC it was a lot of SAM sites, but also some ballistic ones.
