SCARY!
That is why it has always been illegal to fly VFR close to clouds.
It is difficult to distinguish between cummulo-nimbus clouds and cummulo-granitus.
The first time I flew a parachute close to a puffy, little cloud, I got sucked up by a mountain wave at more than 1,000 feet per minute.
