Russian/South African utility project

Hi,

Russian and South African were co-operating on the design of the
Light Cargo Passenger Turboprop (LCPT),it was high wing aircraft
project and powered by two P&W Canada PW118A.

Yes, there is a hint of Sukhoi in here. Not to mention full dollops of DeHavilland Canada -- Dash-8 fuselage meets DHC-5 Buffalo wings and tail.

Does anyone know more about Rusjet or General Technologies? AeroSud seems to have moved on to cranking out components for other people -- although that can't be as much fun as stuffing RD-33s into Mirages ;D
