ROK (South Korea) Submarines

very interested in how it compares with the Japanese Taigei, especially as it seems that its competing with it for Canada's order

Currently, latest version of the Virginia class and Taigei class submarine have Aperture, Conformal bow sonar.

... and all UK nuclear submarines (yes, all the way back to Dreadnought) and the Russian Lada and Yasen (except the first boat) classes. Also the German DM2A4 torpedo seeker. It's not such an exotic technology anymore these days.
