RN SuperType 21

So, I'm betting this ship breaks just aft of the two(!) forward guns. (edit: just before it rolls over.)

Seriously, excellent model building, but as a thing that could have actually happened, I hope you know this is a total impossibility.

Not to mention the lack of space for the Sea Dart Magazine in the bow, or the deck penetration of the Type 909 antennas making the bridge and helicopter unusable.

I've now just noticed the Sea Wolf launchers. If you want to put the armament of a Type 43 on a ship, at least choose a ship that is the size of a Type 43.

Because the model factory(dragon model) made a mistake long time ago, type 21 has a 1/600 hull, and 1/700 weapon. So I can pile up huge number weapon on it.

1/600 type 21'hull is bigger than 1/700 type 42

Ah, all is illuminated.

That said, I think models like this might be better in the Modeling Forum section. Putting them here risks future readers thinking they represent something real.

I wasn't referring to the Type 42, I was referring to this.

And I believe Able is pointing out that this model stems from a Type 21 kit that was issued with an oversized (1:600) hull, so that it ended up being larger than an in-scale (1:700) Type 42. So that build is sort of a modellers joke.
