I'd like you to meet Pegasus, The Ultimate Mustang.....designed as a 'sports aircraft' and only sold in small numbers because of the price. The engine and fuselage to the rear of the cockpit is P-51D, the rest.....built and designed by Rutan.

Wonderful Mustang, so different... ;D
On the lateral sides of the nose, are these radiators? (as the ventral scoop has disappeared)
