Sounds like exactly the same non-answer that Biden gave us.

It is extremely unlikely that any hostile drones would be using navigation lights. The same would be true of aliens, if there are any. (Evil Red Lectroids from Planet Ten??) It is highly likely that many reports by ordinary people were regular airplanes. But it also seems unlikely that the Army, the Navy and the Coast Guard all misidentified civilian aircraft.

To my mind, this is still unresolved.
