ArianeGroup responsible for M51

I've seen it mentioned several times, a reason for Ariane sticking with solids is to help with keeping the know how for large diameter solids for military uses.

Maintaining dual-use technology is perfectly reasonable.

To give some perspective on the dimensions, ArianeGroup's 1000+ km tactical ballistic missile (MBT) is rumored to be 50cm in diameter and 10m in length.

As for Ariane 6 and M51, what i understand is :
Europropulsion (ArianeSpace + Avio) makes de solids for the P120C/P160C boosters and for the Vega rockets.
Whereas the solids for M51 are 100% french made by ArianeGroup (after fusion with Safran) in the old Poudrerie Herakles in Saint-Médard-en-Jalles ... Yes Roxel also has a facility in the same town, but it's a different one
