NASA and international partners to study Mars Ice Mapper mission

NASA and three international partners have signed an agreement to cooperate on a proposed mission to search for ice deposits under the surface of Mars, a precursor for human missions there.

It will be interesting to see if this new Mars mission will get the necessary funding, I do hope it does.

A discussion at MEPAG about the International Mars Ice Mapper (I-MIM) mission mentioned a launch date of now no earlier than 2028. NET 2026 had been the date mentioned in the recent past.
