What ever happened to Lloyd S. Jones. He's made a million or so line drawings for books, magazines, etc.

Circa a year (or two) ago I seem to remember an obituary of him in the AAHS Journal. But I could be wrong.

Oh, no, he"s very much alive - I saw him at the March ARB airshow about a month ago. While he is doing a lot of decal design, he still does drawing support, most recently on the XB-47D for Aerospace Modeler Magazine.

Skybolt is thinking of Alwyn T. Lloyd who (among other things) wrote the excellent B=47 book for Specialty Press.

Uh, probably. Well I'm happy that Lloyd Jones is stil with us: his were some of the first serious books I bought decades ago on airplanes (the US XXX series for Aero). And I'd always wish to ask him "Where did you find the purported and wrong XB-68 drawings ?". BTW, aim9xray, if you meet him again, please ask.
