Hi,
in 1930,the STAe announced for a contest to produce a large postal/transport commercial seaplane or flying boat,powered
by three or four engines,and had speed of 180 km/h,in the book,Les Hydravions Transoceaniques Francais,Latecoere Late.520
had beaten a fifteen anther competitors,some of them are known and the most unknown,so we can speculation what was
those concepts;
Confirm - Latecoere Late.520,Dewoitine HD.46,SPCA H-4 & Breguet Br.510 (early allocated)
Speculative designs - Bernard Model-140H or Four-Eng,Besson MB.42,Bleriot BZ.1 or BL.250,CAMS ?,Couzinet RC.45,Denhaut
(Project 1930),Farman ?,FBA.330,Gourdou-Leseurre ?,Liore et Olivier H-28,Loire ?,Potez P.46 & Wibault Wib.370 or Wib.390.
Probably a numbers of those companies didn't involve,but I mentioned them,just in case ?,who can give us more or
any hint about this tender ?.
