Looks like it's being it's being classified as a helicopter carrier, so it won't be a drone carrier as many people thought. It will probably carry drones, but it's main asset will still be helicopters.

They likely simply don't have designation for drone carriers yet.

ASW carrier is the only make sense role right now, the new patch of the ship includes both TB3s and armed helicopters (I guess SeaHawks from leaks)

Anyway, the ITS Garibaldi was originally conceived as ASW platform, equipped with sonar and other arrays, let alone a good number of Sea Kings...
