Ignore / Kill File feature for trolls.

With the recent rise of trolls it's got more people wondering if there's a way to implement an "ignore" button or killfile type of mechansim to the board to weed out the chaff. Thoughts? Is it possible? Is it unwanted for some reason? Is it not in the feature set of the forum software?
