I believe Mainingen ist not the name of the constructor. Meiningen is a city in germany.

Thanks,and from Aerophile 1934,

the gliders from Maikafer and Zaunkonig.

Maikäfer (Maybug, often incorrectly translated as Mayfly) and Zaunkönig (Wry) are names of the motor gliders, not designers. I found two gliders (sadly no pictures) named Maikäfer from that period, one by Hentzens and one by the DFS, the latter one is allegedly the first true motor glider and looks like in the description, so I presume this is it.
The other one might be Gropp Zaunkönig, again it fits the description.

This is not really a german design, but the Austrian Kittelberger WKM.1.

As mentioned that French thread, this German designers name was apparently Hüttmann not Huttmann.
