a very strange concept for Fairey,I never hear about it before.

Interesting idea, I suppose a natural progression from the Fairey Delta 1 and the V.T.O

Actually predates FD1 by several years and was the start of the project that eventually led to it, although downgraded substantially in scope.
The initial concept dates from mid 1946 and was the subject of a patent (GB733770A) describing the launch system on an aircraft carrier. The more detailed description of the aircraft was submitted for patented in 1952 (GB761230A).
Note that it is a twin-engine concept with a rotating cockpit.
