Apparently after it was retired, it was used as a battle damage repair trainer, see comment here: https://airport-data.com/aircraft/photo/001630073.html

(did this aircraft get its non-standard tail exhaust and bulged canopies while serving as a battle damage repair trainer? Who knows more about this?)
