The motorglider was known as the FiBo-II-a (also FiBo 2A) and a design of Hanno Fischer (as Maveric already remarked), together with Mr. Boretzki
(hence FiBo...) First flight 1953. AFAIK the aircraft never carried a D-...registration as aircraft production in (W) Germany at the time was forbidden.
Some details:
single-seat sport
one 30hp Zündapp (DKW) motor cycle piston engine
max. speed 85mph, cruise 70 mph, icr 480ft/minute, ceiling 7,500ft
wingspan 44.292ft; length 21,958ft; height 7,208ft
DETAILS: The Fibo-II-a (FiBo 2a) for Fischer-Boretzki) was one of the first post war light aircraft to appear in W. Germany. It was designed by Mr. Hans (Hanno) Fischer and built by his Rhein-West-Flug-Fischer & Company (RWF) and first flown during 1953. The aircraft already had several features of later Fischer designs such as the RW-3 and used a so-called slotted propeller installed behind the cockpit. The sole Fibo-II-a was powered by one 30hp Zündapp (DKW) modified motorcycle engine.
