I was always wondering how commercial drone work can grow to the level that is advertised in the media (Especially long range BVLOS operations, e.g. cargo delivery, powerline inspection and the like) with a navigation system that is highly reliant on GNSS. The majority, if not all civil drones available nowadays, do not feature a military grade INS, that would be capable of operating without GNSS for the period required to conduct a save recovery.
