Britten-Norman had its excursion into the field of hovercraft during the '60s, too, The so-called
"Cushioncraft" made its first flight during June 1960. Instead of fans like in most contemporary
hovercraft, it used a peripheral rotor, which was seen as a way to obviate air drag losses in a
duct system.

Maybe an interesting feature, usually not found on other hovercraft, was the integrated "beaching gear",
consisting of four wheels on the underside (slightly visible on the photo)

Types built: CC1 - CC2 - CC4 - CC5 - CC6 - CC7

Thanks for this link. That "Cushioncraft Ltd." was a company on its own may explain, why
I didn't find more about hovercraft built by Britten-Norman.
