Has anybody ever done a gear-up arrestment? Or do they just fly them to a land base when possible?

IIRC, there are photos of carrier aircraft landing with gear up and obviously being caught by
the wires, instead of the net. But this probably did, or would do damage to the whole underside.
The question is, I think, if there ever was a successful landing with just the main gear extended.
