1/700 CVA-01

Imperial Hobby Productions has done work on a plastic 1/700 CVA-01. With enough interest (and up-front money) it will see the light of day.

Well, now all I'll need is 1/700 scale Vickers Type 590s, Hawker Siddeley P.139s, Westland WG.1s and WG.7s.

A few days ago Imperial Hobby Productions put this on their Facebook page:

The UK scales for ship models are 1/600 (Airfix plastic kits with full hull) and 1/1200 (Triang Minic metal waterline). Everyone else uses 1/700 and 1/1250.

I had preordered one of these, unfortunately they just sent me a refund. The project has been cancelled.
