Éric Nessler's early gliders (before Peyret)

The name "Nessler" is often associated with that of Louis Peyret, but Éric Nessler had several gliders before the association that produced the Libellule.

The N.1 Aérovoilier (1916), or literally "aerial-sailboat":

The N.2 (1922), flown at the Combegrasse competition:

The N.3 (1923), which was the same machine modified as a motorglider for the Vauville competition (although the 5 hp Violet engine was never fitted in the end):

Finally, there was the N.5 Libellule, which became the Peyret-Nessler Type IV, powered by a 12 hp Salmson AD 3 engine.
