Post-war fate of French navy had it escaped Toulon?
So say that in 1942 Auphan is a bit more pro-active/decisive and the Marine Nationale or a sizable part of it anyway sails away to join the Allies. Book recommendations for PT boat operations in WW2 and Swift Boats in Vietnam?
Gonna park this in the Bar for now, if there's a better spot the mods can move it. I'm looking for a good book on PT boat operations in WW2, and a separate book about Swift Boats in Vietnam (I doubt there's one book that covers both). Anyone got some suggestions? PT-347 - The WW2 disaster you’ve probably never heard of
I’d never heard of this before, but it’s one of the worst friendly fire incidents I’ve heard of from WW2, made worse that no action was taken against the person who seemingly was most responsible for it. -
