Konami
announced it will be at the 2026 CatCon convention selling
Metal Gear Solid pet merchandise like a replica of the series’ iconic cardboard box. These will only be sold at the Pasadena, California event at the company’s booth between October 10-11, 2026.
Two items are confirmed for this event. One is a Pink Love Box that is a replica of the Love Pack cardboard box that first appeared in
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. That also seems to have a scratcher insert inside for the cat to use their nails on in the example photo. The other item is a Barrel Box tower that looks like the Drum Can from
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. That is a two-tier item for cats that allows one to sit in a top or bottom spot.
