CVN-68 Nimitz Class and CVN-78 Ford Class Differences

I believe everyone is aware of the stated improvements built into the Ford Class CVNs. My question is based on the overall magazine capacity changed from the Nimitz Class. My understanding was the Nimitz Class had roughly 2,900+/- tons of deliverable ordnance. The Ford uses fundamentally the same hull form. With the enhanced sortie generation rate and improved flight deck, has magazine capacity changed? Thanks in advance for any replies.

One detail I've noticed about the Ford class is that the area portside aft is quite larger than it is on the Nimitz class. Maybe some VLS cells were planned to be there at some point instead of the usual 8-pack Sea Sparrow launcher? Currently quite a bit of deck space is unused there.
 
One change that doesn't receive much attention is the overall flight deck size increase from 4.5 to roughly 5.0 acres.

I think it was mainly to expand the workshop space inside the sponsor. The deck area there is a side effect, not the reason for the change.
