But the cost target seems a bit too high to compare with an helo rotation pushing them on the SOC scenario.

Logistics Gliders anticipates the cost of each drone at approximately $4,500 to $11,000.
 
There's a video showing it being dropped out the back of a Shorts Skyvan. It's really funny because it's reminiscent of clips of dolphins giving birth--a flying box drops out a little flying box ;D

I tried to learn about its glide rate, but only found a maximum range figure.

There appear to be multiple sizes of the glider, and the company has apparently already deactivated some page specifically about one model.
