Tu-22M3 Crash

Not my area of expertise but the approach looked way too fast. Was the pilot keeping speed up in case of a go around possibly?

I'm not familiar with Tu-22M3's in the landing and touchdown phase, but it didn't look like he flared to arrest the decent rate. Due to poor visibility and possible runway illusions (i.e. snow on the edges of the runway making the runway appear narrower and hence further away), the pilot may have thought he was higher than he was and didn't flare in time. If he was heavily loaded it would have only exacerbated the situation. (Edited to reflect actual designation ;))
