According to the note in the Les Ailes #462, 24-4-30, p.11, this motoplaneur not only started from the moving riverboat but managed to return and land on it's tiny roof.

The engine is Anzani, but no model, no name of pilot, no place and date are in the text. Couldn't you add details to this amazing event, please?

What a charming aircraft! Reminds me of a Demoiselle, but it seems even more minimalist and has ailerons! The landing on the launch is pretty daring (a similar approach was used in WWI - but only for launching or retrieving float planes).

It'll be interesting if we can track down more about this aircraft! The Anzani isn't much of a lead given how ubiquitous they were.

It shouldn't even be difficult to pull off with a bit of headwind and a beartrap-like gear.

Depends on how much the boat is pitching :)
