"unread" does not work reliably?
« on: June 09, 2007, 08:44:22 am »
A small issue with the interface of the site:
In the main view, the plane icons at left show whether there are new unread topics in each forum.
I find the following bug quite often:
- a dark plane shows there are new items in a board.
- select it
- the "unread" list shows up empty
- I select the all items view of same board
- ... and there are unread items (with the blue 'new').

What gives?

Yep, seems so. If you show "all unread topics" you can see the offending topics, but you can't see them when clicking on the icon for the board.

Probably something that will be fixed in a newer version of the forum software.
