Wibault Aircraft Designation

Hi Hesham,
am looking for more photos of the one and only Wibault 240 (July-October 1933?).
So far I only found one here https://www.aviafrance.com/wibault-240-aviation-france-9393.htm

Irritating that a Wibault Wib.240 should be involved in a 1930 contest for seaplane/flying boat transport aircraft???

Hi Wieesso,

unfortunately I have only a drawing to it,here.

For the 1930 competition,yes it was involved;
Transport seaplane ; Gourdou-Leseurre GL-710,Farman F.310,
CAMS-58,Latecoere Late.501,SPCA-60,Liore et Olivier LeO H-24,
Wibault Wib.240 and maybe Bleriot-250
Thanks a lot, hesham!

There were a few mistakes and inconsistencies in this thread, which I have attempted to remedy in the following Excel chart.
I am of course open to comments, corrections and additions.

Nice work, but I can't see any differences between it and my list, and you must know
that,Breguet absorbed Wibault in 1933,so the Model 660 and 670 with 680 were
under Breguet series, and in 1918,Wibault-Bocaccio was built, but he formed his
company in 1919.

I've added all the missing information (dates, quantities, engine types) and modified erroneous dates and info.
You are right about the Breguet designations, of course.
As for your take on the 1918-1919 chronology, I prefer to rely on an article than on your notes! (Avions N° 35)
