NASA Langley Supercritical Wing design
NASA Langley Hydrogen powered design

I've been trying to nail down the 'real world' model for a fictional airliner that appears in a novel called 'Passengers' by Michael Laurence (Screenwriter/Director), Thomas Foxworth (Ex-pilot/Author) (Which is a rather nasty work trying to put the scare on fly-by-wire & carbon fibre construction, plot is too heavily inspired by the DC-10 saga). That supercritical design is the closest thing I've seen yet. Does it have tail mounted engines in addition to wing mounted ones, the picture is not clear?

Also is there another source document?
