I saw this image in the second edition of the book Future Flight (see https://www.amazon.com/Future-Fligh...769&linkCode=qs&qid=1561493250&s=books&sr=1-1). Unclear whether Boeing or McDonnell Douglas worked on twin fuselage DC-9s and 727s.
