Somewhat related, during Desert Storm US satellites designed to watch for Soviet ballistic missile launches were also watching for SCUD launches. By the end of the war they had the detection to notification of relevant Patriot batteries down to something like five minutes. Sites around the world were in the chain. Colorado, California, Australia, Virginia. . .

It "forgets" missing/mis-interpreting Saddam's build-up to invading Kuwait.

It mixes up then and now - e.g. spotting likely IEDs being placed in Afghanistan.

It seems to be written for 10-year olds.

NRO has nothing to do with how the data is used or interpreted.

But the video does mention the hunt for IEDs, so it does mention the use of the data.
