Col. David S. Graben was a Viet Nam era F-105 pilot and would have gotten medals for his missions except that he was not officially flying over Laos getting his airplane shot up. In the Air Force, he flew many aircraft types and even survived ejecting from an F-100. In civilian life, he flew for American Airlines and continued to give check rides until 3 months ago at 80.
Dave was also an RC model airplane flying buddy of mine for the last 10 years and passed away on January 1, 2017. I and and several of Dave's friends are helping his family sell his large personal Air Force of RC flying model airplanes. He also had five full sized airplanes that will be up for sale too. I've attached a few pictures of what will be for sale in his hanger in Rhome, Texas, February 11, 2017.
