Dear friends I have a question!
I found this rendering on an italian aviation Facebook fanpage, but I don't know if it is just a joke or something more.
Someone on that page was talking about an engine Daimler-Benz DB 609: do you have more info?
Thanks a lot!

this airplane look like the Re.2005 Sagittario or Focke-Wulf Ta 152
from form of Cockpit it's more the Focke-Wulf Ta 152, but both planes have not those side Air-intake (oil cooler ?)

You can find some info on the Daimler Benz DB 609 engine here: http://www.luft46.com/db/dbjager.html

Regarding that model, i'm inclined to say that it's just a nice exercise in whiffery but nothing more.

Regards.

This model of Fw 190 with a Daimler Benz DB 609 engine is based of the real test aircraft FW 190 V-19.
Fw 190V-19, Werknr. 0041, registration GH+KP, was flown with the Jumo 213 oh 1750 h.p.
