IMHO I really think we are going to go full circle when the radar and other detection technologies get so good you will have 'Flying Fortresses' but defended by lasers.

A quote from the article:

I've heard that before. Usually from people of limited technical background.
 
I have a limited technical background, but what I got from this piece is that quantum imaging is basically a way of tagging one's own energy emissions in order to filter out the false returns generated by a jamming system. It doesn't seem to be a solution for low RCS (wherein the emissions simply don't come back); which begs the question... why did the use a B-2 in their illustration?
