Though not actually installed, the Mk112 55mm autocannon was being considered as an alternate weapon for the Me262A-1a/U4, which had been experimentally fitted with the long barrel Mk114 50mm autocannon. The model is the new Hobby Boss Me262A-1a/U4 in 1/48, fitted with a scratch-built Mk112 in a best guess installation, using the Smith and Creek Me262 4 volume tome for the gun and related information.
As a heavy bomber destroyer, the machine was also fitted with R4M rocket racks, the model has those supplied from the Tamiya Me262 kit. the snap is of the not quite finished model, with masking still on the windscreen.
