Looking to do an IAI Phalcon 707 AEW and have yet to find a sideview of anykind. As I understand it,the original proposal had the nose, cheek and tail mounted radomes. In that regard I'd assume it would have a set up like the Nimrod AEW.3,but with the cheek radomes.

My second question would be in light of not finding a Phalcon 707,would it be possible to use ,say,an RC-135 cheek instillation with maybe an EC-18 or EC-135N ARIA nose......something like that maybe?

Hi
The kit I started with was the 1/72 Airfix AWACS but any of the Boeing 707's would do but you can't use the KC-135 type as the fuselage has a differant cross section.
I enlarged the instruction plan and with looking at all the photos at the time I came up with a drawing for both the radome and side radars.

This is as far as I got with my Phalcon a number of years back and that was after a lot of work.

The Radome is made up from plastic card and lots and lots of Miliput with the side pods being plactic card.
Since starting this conversion a few more photos have come out and I'm not sure just how accurate all this is but it looks like a Phalcon to me, must finish it some day. ;D

Your Phalcon sure looks great so far! Welcome aboard, Aircav.
