The recnet Avro archive material that was published here, refers to a Hawker Siddeley HS-837B for the US Navy.
This must have been a 1978 proposal. Does anybody have further info on this?
Apparently HS-837A was meant for the British.

Here is its drawing.

Jos, what was the 'Avro archive material that was published here"? I must have missed that post.

So could have this Hawker Siddeley HS-837B design been a submission to the TS-152 Tri-Service VTOL transport competition, eventually won by the LTV/Hiller/Ryan XC-142A?

Regards
Pioneer
