In doing research on the whole MX 606 GAPA SAM program I came across stuff related to the earliest testing of this missile in Utah. The Boeing 600 series GAPA was akin to the US Army's Private missile test program and designed to gain general knowledge and experience with supersonic missiles. The remains of the launch site for the 600 series can be seen in this video
Note, the narrator really doesn't know much about what went on at the site. The two photos below show the launch tower with a GAPA 600 missile in it being readied for launch. The booster units are Aerojet AL 1000 JATO rocket motors.
