So close to completing its journey.:-(

I dont have a reference but i thought the failure analysis indicated that the lander encountered unexpected density atmosphere and the parachutes didnt deploy quick enough to stop it slamming into the ground?

Looks like it landed ok although there is a suggestion now that the impact fatally deformed the panel unfolding mechanism.
