Aichi Type 2 Civil Transport Seaplane.
The IJN adopted type 2 reconnaissance seaplane which was developed from Heinkel HD-25 type seaplane in 1928. Type 2 reconnaissance seaplane wasn't used too lengthily as practical seaplane, and 3 planes were sold to civil soon. 1 plane added a seat to the rear fuselage, and was used by Kochi Newspaper company. 2 planes were sold to Japan Air transportation research laboratory, and the cabin type guest room with 3 seats was added to the rear fuselage. Symbols of a aircraft are J - BBEI and J - BBFI.
