1990s 160mm SP mortar carriers

Reading this piece on the 160mm mortars (the most famous being the Soltam M66) and this section caught my eye.

In the late 1990s, Lockheed Martin and Mauser would attempt to install a modernized version of the 58C on various tanks and other armoured fighting vehicles, but their bids were unsuccessful.

Haven't been able to find pictures/more information on these supposed 160mm projects. Anyone know more about them?

There is a slightly later journal article by the same authors that appears to walk back this claim a bit.

5 The Lockheed Martin Defense Systems LW155 Towed Howitzer programme entrant developed in the mid-1990s was designed by ex-SRC personnel (of G.V. Bull fame) and made use of some 160 Krh/58C principles, but was not adopted by the US military (source: interviews with design personnel).

Possibly this is effectively a correction of the 2017 article?
