Western artist's impressions of the MiG MFI (1.42, 1.44)

I have always been fascinated by this aircraft. In one way, MiG-1.44 design features can be seen functioning in the developing Chinese J-20, notably the V-shaped tail paired closely with the engines and the styling of the delta wing canard. There are of course the obvious differences of which one comes mind and that is that in comparison to the former, the MiG-1.44 seems to be more conceptualized for close air-combat roles (at the cost of stealth considerations) with it's tail-boom flaps and ventral fins for greater manoeuvrability.

Not a Western artist's impression but one from the East - Far East to say so.
To admit even if I know Bai Wei quite well for his designs and artwork on Chinese types, here I'm not sure how realisticilly this one is ... or is it only a nice what if ??
