Hi

Love this thread above. A very bright individual for his day.

My interest in Stout is for the manufacture and sale to Pullman of the Railplane railroad passenger car.
This car was manufactured and later shown at the Chicago Expo in 1933-34 and in late 1934 sent to Mississippi to be placed in scheduled service for the GM&N Railroad between Jackson MS and Tylertown MS.

I would like to track down more information such as;
Contract between Stout and Pullman for manufacture of Railplane
Contract to lease ? to GM&N Railroad
Evaluation reports on completion of build
Maintenance records etc

Any info would be great. Have retrieved a lot from DetroitHistoricalSociety etc
However it has been difficult to locate other major holders of Stout Engineering archives. Can anyone help with info ?
Thankyou

I guess, that more precise searching could attract some other videos about the subject.

Did you read "So Away I Went" book by Bill Stout?

Hi Thanks for the link etc. Enjoyed watching. No I have not read the book, as yet. Will track down a copy here in New Zealand
Thanks
