Hi,

The Wibault-230T was three engined transport aircraft project,
but I have no more details.

Just discovered this Wibault-Boccaccio biplane from World War I.

Didn't even know Wibault was already active in aviation at that time!

A better view of the Wibault-Boccaccio, now only called a Wibault (although it seems to be the same type):

The Wibault 313 (also found variously as the Wibault Wib 313 or Wibault-Penhoët Wib 313) was a single engine, single seat low wing monoplane fighter submitted to the 1931 C1 (single-seat fighter) competition (won by the Dewoitine D.500). Only one prototype was built.

Again, that caption has a typo -- it should be Boccaccio (after Paul Boccaccio) not 'Boccacio'.

Thanks for the tip, I've corrected to spelling in the posts at least.

By the Way,

- The Wibault 310 was a single seat fighter with Lorraine Petrel engine.

- The Wibault 311 was a single seat fighter with Farman engine

- The Wibault 312 was a single seat fighter with Hispano-Suiza 12X engine.

Curiously, my very first 3d project was about WIbault, I've re-created as a little model.
Enjoy!

I also really liked your model. In fact, I happened to be discussing jet-like propeller-driven designs over at homebuiltairplanes.com and shared your images over there with a link back to this page. I hope you don't mind. Cheers, Matthew

Random question, what is the point of having the shorter biplane wing on the top? I have seen inverted sesquiplane designs with the smaller, narrower-chord wing on top to improve the pilot/observer's visibility or the gunner's field of fire but I don't see the advantage in this case.

From the magazine,Avions 75,

here is a hint to Wibault Wib.270 single seat fighter Project.

From Aviation magazine 1963,

here is a small Info about Wib.364,maybe a Project ?;

Presented by Ribière, at the Cours of the Tour de France of prototypes which takes place from September 9 to 17,
1933, the Wibault 360 will then be shared with Noël-Noël and Fernandel the star of the film “Adémaï Aviator ”. After
the two copies of 362, which succeeds, in more powerful, to 360, and is intended for STAé, we see, in 1933, a new derivative, structured slightly different, the type 364. An annular cover Wibauit, slit, covers its Gnome-Rhône engine
500 hp.

From Aviation Magazine 1966,

here is a Wibault Wib.12T,a light transport version Project of Type-12.
More Info from TU magzine,

Wibault 12 T: In 1925, Wibault offered a single-engine transport called Wibault 12 T. Very modern for
epoch it comes in the form a
cantilever monoplane with high arch
in trapezoidak plan with ends
slightly rounded, with ailerons of
weak rope running across the span
from the trailing edge. The fuselage receives a
Pilot and mechanic in closed cabin
placed in front of the leading edge and a
Gabine for eight passengers well lit
by rectangular portholes. The
empennages are also cantilevered and
fixed landing gear without axle is
attached to the bottom of the fuselage. The engine is
a Gnome-Rhône 9 Ac of 420 hp.
The aircraft must cross at 160 km / h and have
a range of 840 km. Its weight at
take-off is 3,020 kg and its wingspan of 17 m for a surface area of 57 m2,

Retained by CEPANA. a
order for two prototypes is
proposed. But Wibault and the STAé do not
will not be able to agree on
the market value and the project will not be
not realised.

The Wibault Wib.7 C1, winner of the French 1923 pursuit tender, was also produced in Britain by Vickers, as part of their commercial agreement. This double-page article was published in the June 14, 1926 issue of U.S. magazine Aviation, and mentions the fact that some of the production was destined to Chili.

BAE Systems has a page on the Vickers-built Wib.7 C1 (ignore the '7.C2' typo in the title) which includes photos of airframes being assembled at Weybridge for Chile.

Vickers referred to the type as their Type 121 Wibault Scout. Apparently, the Aviación Militar and then Fuerza Aérea Nacional referred to its fighter simply as 'Vickers Wibault I'. These aircraft served (1927-1937) alongside the similarly-powered prototype Vickers Type 131 Valiant (although the latter crashed at the Escuela de Aviación Militar within a year).

I took the profile drawing of the Wib 313 in my own way trying to get as close as possible to the truth. This profile is certainly far from perfect, especially for the rear of the fuselage, but I tried to solve the details of the engine hood where it seems to me, but without being able to affirm it, that the engine is equipped with propellant exhaust pipes ...

In the rest of my previous post here is my version of the top and front views of the Wib 313. I have doubts about the accuracy but in the absence of more information available one can only indulge in speculation... Hoping that this little dilettante work can inspire some fixed or radio-controlled modeller ...
