J.S. McDonnell Jr. & Associates Doodlebug

Hi Hesham

I think it's a McDonnell Doodlebug.
Source : McDonnell Douglas Aircraft since 1920 : Volume II / René J Francillon.

Swallow.

Ever felt sorry that there didn't seem to exist many photos of McDonnell's very first aircraft, the Doodlebug?
Well, I sure was. No more.

Presenting... a whole page of no less than 51 (!) photos of the Doodlebug and related documents!

Here is a recap of all the McDonnell Doodlebug photos in the NASA archives.

"NACA 643" indicates the number given to the test facility, in this case the 7 X 10-Foot High Speed Tunnel.

Could a moderator rename this topic appropriately? Thanks.
